British Wildlife – Wading Birds at Wwt Welney Wetland Centre
Welney Wetland Centre is one of the best places for Birdwatching in Norfolk. With various pools, reedbeds and flooded fens, the area is great for wetland and wading birds in particular and is a very important site for wintering Whooper swans and other migratory birds. The reserve is managed and looked after by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust or WWT as they are known. In this Video we will visit all of the hides and see what wildlife and nature we can find. You will see Whooper Swans, Black Tailed Godwits, Pochard, Tufted Ducks, a Parasitic Wasp and many other wading birds and invertebrates.
